Rachel Brown says Everton have left no stone unturned in preparation for their
FA Cup fifth round clash at lowly Oxford United on Saturday. The Everton Ladies
goalkeeper played an instrumental role in last weekends feisty Continental Cup
draw with neighbours Liverpool and is hoping for a repeat performance from the
Toffees. The Blues are strong favourites against United, who play four divisions
below the WSL in the South West Combination Football League - but Brown remains
unconcerned about complacency. She told evertonfcm Our team performance against
Liverpool was very good and the girls were relieved to get that game out of the
way after all the hype and build-up.Our manager Andy Spence has scouted the
Oxford team on a number of occasions and produced a detailed report on each
player so we have left no stone unturned FIFA 17 Coins. We will not approach the game any
differently just because we are playing a team from a lower division, especially
in the most prestigious cup competition. A crowd of 1432 turned out for the
televised derby match despite the poor weather conditions.
Oxfords previous FA Cup game against Newcastle drew a crowd of 700 and due to the magnitude of the match against top level opposition, a four figure gate is expected at the Kassam Stadium, the home of League Two Oxford United. With the mens team playing Morecambe on Good Friday, the match has been moved to the 12,500 capacity venue to raise the profile of the biggest game in the clubs short history.Brown heaped praise on the fans who braved the Baltic conditions at Widnes Halton Stadium and insists her side will not be fazed by a large home crowd. She added Growing crowds is really exciting for any female footballer FIFA 17 Points.Against Liverpool, we could hear our fans after our equaliser and that was really inspiring.Oxford have clearly marketed the game very well and the projected figure is testament to the people behind the scenes. We are used to playing in front of bigger crowds and prefer playing in those type of atmospheres so all being well we shouldnt have any problems. for match updates.Facebook and TwitterSaturdays match kicks-off at 4pm.
